Quality Engineer (Lamination Process)

Job Role:
Overall responsible for the day-to-day quality activities of lamination process, safety, product quality, training. claim handling, waste management & monitor daily records.

Responsibilities:

• Establish CIQ points & monitor it.
• Implement QA/ QM matrix to maintain consistent product quality & drive continous improvement initiative.
• Lead the analysis of customer complaints and customer feedback provide timely analysis reports and drive action initiatives.
• Inline process inspection, proactively reduce the quality incident conduct post incident analysis & implement preventive measures.
• Defect handling & review effectiveness of CAPA
• Define effective quality problem solving & root cause analysis.
• Responsible for implementation and follow-up of procedures, work instructions, one point lessons.
• Actively participation in the implementation of Company improvement system (LCI)
• Ensure sucessful fulfillment of audits from customers & other auditing agency.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in the extrusion process, preferably in a role focused on process or quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Technical expertise in polymer extrusion, particularly with materials such as LDPE, MLLDPE, and EEA/EEMA, is highly desirable and will be considered a strong asset.
• Proficient in English, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly across different functions and levels within the organization.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies, such as World Class Manufacturing (WCM), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), and Kaizen. Experience implementing these systems in a production environment is a plus.
• Excellent analytical skills with a strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and deliver comprehensive reports that support decision-making and operational improvement.

Process Engineer – Prepress

Role:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Process Engineer – Flexo Prepress to optimize and oversee prepress operations for flexographic printing. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workflows, high-quality output, and compliance with technical specifications. This role involves collaboration with production, quality, and design teams to enhance printing processes.

Job Description:

• Develop and improve prepress processes for flexographic printing, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
• Analyse workflows to identify and implement best practices, reducing waste and increasing productivity.
• Ensure accurate preparation of plates, proofs, and other prepress materials for printing.
• Evaluate and maintain prepress equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
• Work closely with the design and production teams to ensure designs are print-ready and meet client specifications.
• Communicate technical requirements and adjustments to relevant stakeholders.
• Monitor and uphold high-quality standards during the prepress phase, addressing any issues proactively.
• Conduct root cause analysis on defects and implement corrective actions.
• Research and recommend new technologies or upgrades to enhance prepress efficiency.
• Provide training and support for team members on prepress software and equipment.
• Perform data analysis on process efficiency and quality metrics.
• Generate reports and recommend improvements to management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Printing Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in flexographic prepress processes.
• Familiar with Continuous Improvement method and concept
• Strong knowledge of prepress software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Esko tools.
• Proficiency in colour management, plate-making, and proofing techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
